Resident Care Aide
Hours of Work:
Resident Care Aides are responsible for supervision of residents, personal care, and basic housekeeping tasks in accordance with the Fredonia Place Assisted Living philosophy. The Resident Care Aide is charged with the responsibility of ensuring the safety, welfare, dignity, confidentiality, and comfort of each resident. Assist residents in meeting their physical, emotional, spiritual, and medical needs to achieve and maintain their highest level of wellness. She/he is in communication with the Director of Resident Care and/or shift LPN, at minimum, once per shift to provide a report (verbal and/or written) of each resident’s general welfare with special attention to any needs, issues, or changes in condition.
Med Tech
Hours of Work:
Med Tech’s are responsible for medication assistance, supervision of residents, personal care, and basic housekeeping tasks in accordance with the Fredonia Place Assisted Living philosophy. The Med Tech is charged with the responsibility of ensuring the safety, welfare, dignity, confidentiality, and comfort of each resident. Assist residents in meeting their physical, emotional, spiritual, and medical needs to achieve and maintain their highest level of wellness. She/he is in communication with the Director of Resident Care and/or shift LPN, at minimum, once per shift to provide a report (verbal and/or written) of each resident’s general welfare with special attention to any needs, issues, or changes in condition.
LPN
Hours of Work:
Oversee and promote the residents’ health and wellness through administration of all residents’ medications, regular visits with each resident, resident monitoring, and ongoing communication with the resident care team.
The LPN uses his/her nursing knowledge to ensure the Resident’s care are adequately and appropriately assessed and met. Responsibilities include the cooperation, coordination, supervision, and enforcement of the DOH regulations, Fredonia Place policies and procedures. Oversight of the day-to-day operations of Memory Care to ensure compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements as well as the liaise between Residents, their families and/or Legal Representatives, and community-based service providers. Additional responsibilities include in-service education as well as appropriate documentation requirements. As one of the lead members of the Nursing team the LPN works directly with the Director of Resident Care to facilitate compliance of the Resident’s individual plan of care. In this role, the LPN provides primary resident supervision in all areas.

The Server is responsible for serving food and beverages in an efficient, professional manner according to Fredonia Place Assisted Living philosophy, policies, and procedures.

Hours of Work:
Flexible to the needs of the kitchen.
The Cook is responsible for making all food, which includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, snacks, etc. in an efficient, professional manner according to Fredonia Place Assisted Living philosophy, policies, procedures, Department of Health regulations and the New York State Sanitary Code. Assist residents in meeting their nutrition intake and goals to achieve their highest level of wellness. She/he is in communication with Dietary Director and/or On-duty Cook, at minimum, once per shift to provide a report (verbal and/or written) of each resident’s general welfare with special attention to any needs, issues, or changes in condition.
