"The personal caring and assistance on the part of the entire staff are
wonderful. It has ranged from from the moving-in assistance that we
received from you, to the fantastic service by the dining room staff, to
the assistance of the maintenance department in all sorts of ways and
of course, the daily assistance and kindness of the group that my
mother calls her "angels". We are all pleased that Fredonia Place
was available to us and look forward to a truly wonderful long term
experience."

An open letter to Management and Staff:
"I would like to share with all of you how much I appreciated your care and support for my mother. My mother spent almost two years at Fredonia Place. She grew to love the staff and her fellow residents. She was somewhat tentative and hesitant when she arrived, but any and all anxiety was quickly dismissed as the well trained and supportive staff guided her in her transition to
assisted living. Mother looked forward to the wonderful dinner conversations, which were always lively and covered a vast array
of topics. An occasional glass of wine with her dinner companions was also a special treat! The monthly resident meetings were
fun too. Mom always remarked about the lovely grounds at Fredonia Place. Residents seemed to have a green thumb with the flowers that surrounded their patios. Also, decorative windmills, and bird feeders would add color and welcome birds. I will not
name individuals for fear of missing someone, but the main office staff was always eager to answer questions from mom and me. The cleaning, maintenance, and dining personnel were efficient, prompt and friendly. The heart of Fredonia Place was its nursing staff. They were medically efficient, but their true value is they became fast friends with mom. The level of care from these professionals was outstanding. So I want to thank everyone for their love and friendship to my mother."

"Dear Staff:
My sisters, brothers and I want to express our sincere gratitude for your individual, special welcome to our Dad. He has always
been very independent, and it was very painful for him when Mom passed eleven years ago. Dad has missed her so, and his loneliness led to depression. Now at Fredonia Place, he has truly picked up once more! His zest for life is evident, and he enjoys
his new life. We are so relieved, and thank you for your intuitive sensitivity for the individuality of each resident. Having worked
with the elderly in institutional settings, I am so pleased to witness the staff caring for the little things calling each by name,
initiating conversations, and always with a smile! Finally, a real home where our elders are treated with respect for their life experiences and cared for with gratitude for all they have given to us, most especially, our veterans. You all remain in our
prayers full thoughts for your gifts shared!"

K.N.

"Hello from Austin. I think of you and your wonderful staff everyday. Thank you to your wonderful staff for the immediate attention you gave my Aunt. I was blessed to have you already in place doing what seemed to come so natural to you. I recognized how
much your hearts were breaking for my Aunt. Please accept a heartfelt thank you to everyone."

J.R.

"I just wanted to let you all know how much I appreciated all your help and caring for my mom at Fredonia Place."

J.S.

"We are grateful for the compassionate, caring, and support shown our Dad during the two years he lived at Fredonia Place. May your "Jewel on the Hill" continue as the "beacon" shining-so needed here in Western New York."

K.N.

Dear Staff at Fredonia Place,

Thanks to all of you who worked with Mom over the almost four years she lived there. When Mom lived on the Assisted Living Maureen was especially helpful, and there were others whose names I do not know. Wendy kept Mom's apartment clean and
helped arrange her stuffed animals in new ways which amused Mom. When she was in the East Wing, everyone worked hard to
help her. Rochelle and Kelley and all the rest of the staff were so concerned about her.

Thank you for all you did.

B.N.

Dear Nurses and Staff,

"J. and I and the entire family wish to thank you sincerely for the love and kindness

you've shown to his dad.  He truly grew to love living at Fredonia Place in his "pad".

When I asked him recently if there was anything he needed he responded "all I need

is family and love and I have them both". I believe he considered you part of his family.

God Bless you all. We will never be able to thank you enough."

J.&D. N.

Fredonia Place Staff,

J and I appreciate the flowers in memory of Mom. We also acknowledge all of the care

and support given Mom for her stay at Fredonia Place.

Thank you.

D & J

many others to name, Please accept one most heartfelt thanks for the loving care you

provided for my dad during the last couple of years of his life. We were truly blessed

to have had all of you in our lives. Dad always said he was "very comfortable" there!

God Bless all of you"

"Dear Fredonia Place Staff,

Thank you all for the compassion and support you showed my mother and I and my family during this difficult time. Also, knowing that my mother is in good hands at Fredonia Place is a comfort to me, being so far away. Special thanks to Wayne for taking such good care of us."

you're the greatest. Best Wishes"

Dear Friends,

There are not enough ways to say thank you to everyone for all the help that you gave S during her (just short of) year and a half
at Fredonia Place. She was happy and enjoyed the attention you all gave her!

Today, June 13th, she will be laid to rest and I am so glad she will not be suffering anymore. I know (at times) she was a "pain in
the butt" to some of the staff (as she was to some of the family) but she loved everyone and now she's at peace.

Again-Thank you.

M.M.

Dear Fredonia Place Staff,

Thank you for the lovely basket of flowers you gave me while I was in the hospital. I appreciate the gesture of thoughtfulness-
I'll always treasure the basket after all the flowers are gone!

Sincerely,

A. S.

"I just wanted to say that I worked at Fredonia Place my last year in college and loved it. It was such a great place to work and I
really loved the fact that the people I worked with cherished the residents just as much as I did. I felt comfortable being loving
and caring because I knew that my team of coworkers were the same way with the residents and that was expected of us.
Thank you for your employment!"

M.S.

“Living far from Western New York, it can be hard to feel “in the loop” relative to my mother’s care. But that was not the case at Fredonia Place. I received regular newsletters and updates and, when I would call, I always felt my calls were valued by the professional staff.”
